AI assistant access

Run your LinkedIn from ChatGPT or Claude

WordPush is a LinkedIn content tool with an MCP server, so an AI assistant can use it on your behalf. Connect it to Claude or ChatGPT once, and you can ask your assistant to draft a post in the voice WordPush built from your interview, generate a carousel or image for it, and schedule or publish it to your profile or company page through LinkedIn's official API. It is included in the plan, and nothing publishes without you.

No card needed, free for 7 days. Connect your assistant whenever you like.

Your MCP server address

https://app.wordpush.co.uk/mcp/wordpush

Authorised with OAuth using your normal WordPush sign-in. No API key to generate, nothing to host, and you can revoke it in Settings at any time.

What it can do

The tools your assistant gets

The tools the WordPush MCP server exposes, what each does, and what it costs
Tool What it does Cost
get_context Returns your brand voice, your available LinkedIn channels, the post angles you can use and your remaining AI credits. Free
create_post Saves a post your assistant wrote itself into your WordPush account as a draft. Free
write_post Has WordPush generate the draft in your trained voice, rather than the assistant writing it. 10 AI credits
attach_image Attaches an image you uploaded or a public image URL to a post. Free
generate_image Renders an on-brand image for the post in your fonts and colours. 80 AI credits
generate_carousel Turns a post into a native LinkedIn document carousel. Uses AI credits
generation_status Checks on an image or carousel that is still rendering. Free
schedule_post Schedules the post to your profile or company page for a date and time you give. Free
publish_post_now Publishes immediately through LinkedIn’s official API. Free

Each tool is permissioned separately, so you can allow drafting and require approval before anything publishes. The full tool reference covers what each one does and which ones change something.

Set it up

Connect it to your assistant

New to the standard itself? What is MCP explains it without the engineering. If you are weighing up the options, LinkedIn MCP servers compared covers the four kinds and which to avoid.

Staying in control

An assistant with your account, not instead of you

Nothing publishes on its own

The assistant only does what you ask it to in that conversation. Scheduling and publishing are explicit tools it has to call, and you see it happen.

Per-tool permissions

You decide what the connection is allowed to do. Let it draft but not publish, or give it the whole workflow. Your call, changed any time.

It sees results, not your account

The assistant receives the specific tool results WordPush returns — the draft, its status — and not your wider WordPush data.

Revoke in one click

Disconnect in Settings whenever you want. The connection is OAuth, the same secure sign-in you already use, so there is no API key to leak.

Why it is different

Most LinkedIn MCP servers scrape. This one publishes.

Search for a LinkedIn MCP server and most of what comes back reads profiles, harvests contact data or automates connection requests. Those work by pretending to be you inside your logged-in session, which is exactly the behaviour LinkedIn restricts accounts for.

WordPush does the other half of the job. It knows what you should post about, because the Idea Hub reads your industry overnight. It writes in your voice, because it interviewed you at signup rather than guessing from your old posts. And it publishes through LinkedIn's official API with OAuth, so there is no extension and no automation of your account activity.

That means your assistant is not a scraper with your cookies. It is a client for a tool that already has permission to publish for you.

Questions

Using WordPush from an AI assistant

Can I post to LinkedIn from Claude?
Yes. WordPush runs an MCP server at https://app.wordpush.co.uk/mcp/wordpush. Add it as a custom connector in Claude, authorise it with your WordPush login, and you can ask Claude to draft a post in your voice, generate a carousel or image for it, and schedule or publish it to your LinkedIn profile or company page. Publishing goes through LinkedIn's official API, not a browser extension.
Can I schedule LinkedIn posts from ChatGPT?
Yes. ChatGPT supports custom MCP connectors through developer mode while the feature is in early access. Once WordPush is connected you can ask it to schedule a post for a specific day and time, to your profile or a company page, and the post is queued in your WordPush calendar like any other.
Is there a LinkedIn MCP server?
There are several, and most of them scrape LinkedIn or automate outreach. WordPush is a publishing one: it writes in a brand voice built from your onboarding interview, builds native carousels, and publishes through LinkedIn's official API using OAuth. It does not scrape profiles, auto-connect or auto-message, because that is what puts accounts at risk.
Which plans include AI assistant access?
Every plan. WordPush is one plan with everything included, and AI assistant access is part of it, along with 2,000 AI credits a month.
Is WordPush in the ChatGPT or Claude app directory?
Not yet. For now you add WordPush as a custom connector by hand, which takes a couple of minutes and the setup guide walks through it. Nothing about how it works changes once we are listed; the directory just makes the first connection a click instead of a paste.
Do I need to be a developer to set this up?
No. You paste one address into your assistant's connector settings and sign in with your WordPush account. There is no API key to generate, no code to write and nothing to host.
Does using it from an assistant cost extra?
No. It draws on the same 2,000 AI credits a month your plan already includes. Saving a draft the assistant wrote itself is free; having WordPush generate the draft or render an image uses credits, the same as it would inside the app.
