Authorised with OAuth using your normal WordPush sign-in. No API key, nothing to host, and you can revoke it in Settings whenever you like.

Worth knowing: Claude is the most direct route, and the one most people should take. Claude has supported custom connectors longest, the permissions are per tool, and it works on every plan including Free.

Setup

Connecting WordPush to Claude

  1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors. On Team and Enterprise an Owner adds it once under Organization settings → Connectors, and everyone else then clicks Connect.
  2. Click +, then Add custom connector.
  3. Paste the WordPush address: https://app.wordpush.co.uk/mcp/wordpush
  4. Click Add, then approve the sign-in when WordPush asks. This issues a token scoped to your account — there is no API key to generate or paste.
  5. Set the per-tool permissions. Leave the read-only tools on always allow, and set anything that publishes to ask first.
  6. In a chat, turn the connector on with the + button → Connectors, and start asking.
  • The connection is OAuth, so Claude never sees a WordPush password and never sees a LinkedIn credential at all.
  • Revoke it any time from Claude’s connector settings, or in WordPush under Settings → AI assistants.

Can Claude post to LinkedIn?
Not on its own — Claude has no LinkedIn access built in. It can once you connect a tool that does. WordPush runs an MCP server at https://app.wordpush.co.uk/mcp/wordpush; add it as described on this page and Claude can draft a post in your voice, build a carousel or image for it, and schedule or publish it to your profile or company page through LinkedIn's official API.
Do I need a developer to connect WordPush to Claude?
No. You paste one address and sign in with the WordPush account you already have. There is no API key to generate, no code to write and nothing to host — WordPush runs the server.
Which Claude plans support this?
Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Free accounts are limited to one custom connector, so if you already have one you will need to swap it out.
Does my assistant get access to my LinkedIn account?
No. Your LinkedIn connection lives in WordPush and never leaves it. The assistant talks to WordPush, WordPush talks to LinkedIn. It never sees a LinkedIn credential, and it only receives the specific tool results WordPush returns rather than your wider account data.
Can it publish something without me?
No. Publishing and scheduling are explicit tools the assistant has to call, and you can set each tool to ask first. Leave the read-only tools on always-allow and require approval for anything that writes, and nothing reaches LinkedIn that you did not see.
Does this cost extra on top of WordPush?
No. AI assistant access is part of the one WordPush plan, and it draws on the 2,000 AI credits a month that plan already includes. Saving a draft Claude wrote itself is free; having WordPush generate a draft or render an image spends credits exactly as it would inside the app.
